In 2003 I pioneered the IT network for the 'Yas-e No' newspaper in Iran. This was very successful, probably too successful! This reformist newspaper was closed by the authorities the following year and I left for Canada. Further details can be found in my Resume here.
What modern business doesn't require an online presence? There is a gap betwween the free online website creation tools which can create fast results but often leave tell-signs of a less than professional result - and the custom, polished sites maintained by a team of highly paid professionals. At the same time small businesses would rather employ an affordable professional to ‘do it all’, i.e. from web design to designing brochures and planning special events. This is the market I intend to.
I am currently preparing for this through a course in web design at Trios College, more details to follow here.
I created this page and it's stylesheet in Dreamweaver CC from scratch as part of an assignment for Trios College. It's a fluid design that collapses gracefully on small screens. All images on this part are either my own personal photos or created by myself in Photoshop.
